BIOGEMSE will demonstrate its solutions in a Mediterranean climate, where hot summers and mild, rainy winters create challenges in thermal insulation and energy-efficiency.
The project will develop and test 3D-printed bio-intelligent facade panels for residential buildings, inspired by natural structures and designed to combine performance, sustainability and aesthetics.

BIOGEMSE solutions will be demonstrated in Atlantic conditions, where heavy rain, strong winds and high humidity create demanding conditions for buildings.
In this pilot, the bio-intelligent building facades will be developed and tested for buildings such as hospitals, schools and offices, combining safety, comfort and sustainability.
